The Opportunity
This position works out of our Alameda, CA location in the Diabetes Care division where we are focused on helping people with diabetes manage their health with life-changing products that provide accurate data to drive better-informed decisions. We’re revolutionizing the way people monitor their glucose levels with our new sensing technology.
As Brand Manager, MyFreeStyle US, you will be a key team member to execute marketing strategies that drive customer engagement, particularly focused on MyFreeStyle US support program. You will execute multichannel marketing campaigns with emphasis on MyFreeStyle App in-app enhancements and its promotion. You'll partner with creative agencies on messaging, imagery and key metrics to develop compelling email, SMS and in App content and visuals. You'll define audience segments, determine email cadences and establish KPIs for each campaign. You'll present marketing tactics and results to cross functional partners. If you love finding new and creative ways on how to support patients whilst they engage with explore our products across multiple channels, creating messaging and analyze channel metrics to driving business KPIs, this role is for you!
What You’ll Work On
**Focus** : Creating and executing promotional strategies for customer engagement and retention, primarily focused on the MyFreeStyle Program
**Segmentation** : Assist in defining audience segments and establishing KPIs • Marketing Journeys: Support the design of retention-focused journeys and content mapping in collaboration with creative agencies
**Content and App Development:** Assist in in-app content creation and feature enhancements
**Promotional Campaigns:** Execute 360° campaigns including email, SMS, and in-app promotions
**Reporting** : Regularly report on marketing tactics and results with improvements suggestions
**Collaboration** : Work with customer service, other marketing colleagues, cross functional and regulatory teams to ensure seamless campaign execution
**Project Management** : Ensure a seamless in-app customer experience and promotional plan, work with multiple teams to ensure timely delivery
**Analysis** : Identifying gaps and generating insights through analytics
**Proactivity** : Demonstrate initiative and proactive problem-solving
**Management** : Assist in handling budgets, vendors, and resources
**Agency Partnership** : Provide feedback on email content and design
**Performance Tracking** : Assist in reporting KPIs and optimizing the marketing funnel
**AB Testing** : Support the optimization of campaign performance through testing
**Creative Briefs:** Assist in writing creative briefs and backend business requirements
**Documentation** : Document customer journeys across multiple segments
Required Qualifications
Bachelors Degree with at least 4-6 years of related experience, with at least one year of experience in marketing or product management, or MBA with 1-3 years of related experience.
Strong presentation & communication skills, strategic planning, critical thinking and analysis of market conditions.
Experience in retention-focused marketing and win back campaigns
Experience with web and consumer marketing, market access, trade, customer service
Preferred Qualifications
Mobile Health Applications: Experience / interest in mobile health applications
Writing creative briefs and documenting customer journeys
Working with PMO, R&D, software product managers, and e-health mobile applications
Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar ESP management
Managing large customer databases, mobile feature enhancements, and content calendars
Cross-functional collaboration
Managing contractors and agencies
MBA or related master's degree
Experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, biotech, or similar regulated industry

The base pay for this position is $112,000.00 – $224,000.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
