**In this role, you will work in an Agile development environment to bring the designs and ideas to life for new or improved products and AI Powered data driven web applications.** This work will support a mix of internal and external clients. You will be working on current and upcoming projects that connect design, engineering, product development, and implementation to understand how those pieces impact infrastructure. You'll share your operational and process maturity with a growing team while building products for large enterprises to enable their workforce.
No two days are the same as you work with your team, business leaders, and project management to understand our next wave of work. **To thrive in this role, you'll need to be a cloud-native with a solid understanding of technologies, including Data Science, AI, ML, APIs, distributed systems design, operational scaling and availability, and application integrations. Enterprise Java with open source tools, Spring Boot, Python And Java 8 or later (preferred languages), and AWS are critical.** You have experience working full stack with front-end, scripting, and back-end experience. You're a passionate leader focused on engagement as well as results, and you're not afraid to roll your sleeves up and dive into the code when necessary. WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Here's what you can expect on a typical day:
+ **People Development**
+ Your 7 or more years of inspiring team leadership have delivered amazing results, and you pride yourself on developing the people who work for you, as well as providing an inclusive team environment where they all can thrive. + Coach & mentor junior, mid level developers, QA, BA to achieve their aspirations and grow in skills & knowledge.
+ You will be managing 2 or more teams spread across multiple time zones, building applications powered by AI, ML, Cloud.
+ **Delivery Ownership**
+ You'll start each day with a scrum, working in multiple teams to understand responsibilities, identify issues, and communicate coding priorities while choosing user stories to complete. You must know **Lean** software development, **Agile** Scrum well.
+ You'll work with business leadership and project management to understand priorities and align capacity plan accordingly.
+ You will own & drive **full life cycle of a feature** development, from requirements, Design & Architecture, Estimation & Planning, Development, QA, UAT, Prod Deployment, Pilot, GA and support & maintenance.
+ Working in two-week sprints, you must keep up with timelines and delivery on commitments, removing impediments, adhering to ADP Architecture, design and coding standards, hands-on coding & code reviews, planning & executing releases.
+ **Process Improvement**
+ You will apply your deep expertise and past experience in Lean Agile, Software Engineering best practices, data analytics to continuously monitor and make changes to improve process improve Speed, Quality, Cost, Predictability, Maintainability, ROI.
+ **Technical Leadership**
+ An eagerness to learn will help you keep up with ever-changing technologies and maintain the ability to create the best tools for our clients. You are comfortable and thrive in an autonomous role since that will be essential for your success.
+ You will apply technical acumen, usability, product & domain knowledge to solve complex problems with R&D, hands-on POCs.
+ When needed, you will roll-up your sleeves , dig into code to debug & troubleshoot issues and hand hold developers.
+ **Collaboration & Executive Communication**
+ You will present and defend your team's approach to leadership. There is no typical day as you partner and work with people across the development organization to turn ideas into reality.
+ Partner with internal & external stakeholders (SRE, IT, Shared, Product, CDO, Business etc.) to foster healthy collaboration.
+ You will send reports, present and demo solutions to senior leaders, executives and clients.
TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:
+ **Required**
+ You'll have a Bachelor's degree OR equivalent.
+ **You have 10+ years of experience in relevant skills gained and developed in the same or similar role.**
+ **Experience in building enterprise level distributed applications in AWS Cloud, Serverless Architecture, Microservices, Web, API, Java or Python, React or Angular, Jenkins, CICD, Git, Kafka, Docker, Redis, REST/JSON, and SQL/Oracle/Postgres/Dynamo DB**
+ Proven experience in building/transforming/scaling high performance teams with globally distributed resources
+ Expert level understanding of Agile, Scrum, OBT CICD, DevOps, Test Automation, SRE, Usability, Project Management, Security, Best software engineering practices, code quality, design and architecture Patterns and Principles.
+ Curious mind with passion for continuous learning with strong bias for action to delivery results with speed, quality in fast faced agile environment with aggressive timelines.
+ Executive level communication and presentation skills with the proven ability to build healthy relationships & influence key strategic decisions.
+ Preferred but Not Required
+ Experience in HCM Domain (Benefits, HR, Payroll, Time, Talent, Compliance etc.)
+ Knowledge and experience in Data Engineering, Data Science, AI, ML, LLM and Agentic AI applications
+ Tools, LLMs and frameworks like GPT, VSCode, CoPilot, LangChain, Data Bricks, SageMaker, AWS Bedrock, Spring Boot
+ Document Digitization, OCR, Test Automation , Splunk, Jira, Atlassian, Bitbucket, Dynatrace, MLOps
