What You'll Do
As a **Client Service Specialist III** , you will partner with client facing roles as well as internal and external customers in delivering excellent client service. Support, coordinate and prioritize daily work to meet service expectations. Independently deliver accurate and timely retirement administrative services.
+ Communicate effectively with internal and external clients to retain relationships. Utilize all communication mediums successfully with clients regarding special timing requests and participant data. Ensure all client needs are met by providing consolidated, timely and complete reporting. This includes communication on complex contract procedures. (This could include participating in client and/or project meetings also).
+ Oversee and prioritize daily work to meet/exceed client service needs. Manage pension services for clients or tasks as well as ensuring timely and accurate completion of customer requests.
+ Anticipate, recognize and research unusual or complex situations and provide prompt feedback to clients, management, and internal and external customers. Propose, create and act on solutions to meet both the client and business unit needs. Thoroughly document key decisions as they relate to pension risk services.
+ Promote team development through shared knowledge and information with team members in working to resolve unusual or challenging situations. Provide technical assistance for other roles on procedures and task related situations. Assist with the training and mentoring of personnel as well as assisting with procedural updates.
+ Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of our systems, contracts, and pension documents.
+ Perform other job-related duties or special projects as required.
Who You Are
+ Preferred Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, plus 4+ years related experience.
+ Required skills include exceptional written and verbal communication, interpersonal, basic math, organizational, reading comprehension, interpretation, negotiation, innovative, analytical, and problem solving.
+ Requires knowledge of contract documents, procedures, and company products and services.
+ Must have ability to balance working independently with working in a team environment to meet client needs and achieve overall pension goals.
Salary Range Information
Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
Salary Range (Non-Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly)
$19.47 - $35.19 / hour
Time Off Program
Personal Time Off (PTO) is provided to hourly (non-exempt) employees and provides a set amount of accrued time earned each pay period. Employees can use their PTO for vacation, personal or short-term illness.

Work Environment
This role offers in-office, hybrid (blending at least three office days in a typical workweek), and remote work arrangements (only if residing more than 30 miles from Des Moines, IA or Charlotte, NC).
