Job Summary
Performs cashiering duties and maintains sanitation standards in the preparation, service, and dining room facilities.
Essential Functions
+ Performs cashier duties and operates cash register/Point of Sale system. Cashiers according to established procedures, maintaining cash accuracy with receipts. Makes deposits at the end of the shift by following correct procedures.
+ Responsible for service in all retail areas, including cashiering and line serving. Prepares coffee and keeps coffee station and cashier station clean. Sweeping and mopping the floor.
+ On an on-going basis, inventories and re-stocks supplies (paper products) and food products (snacks/drinks) in work area.
+ Sets up items for purchase and consumption on a daily basis.
+ Keeps refrigerator stocked and product rotated by using the First -in/First out (FIFO) rule.
+ Cleans tables to ensure they are ready for meal service.
+ Performs other duties as assigned.
+ Complies with all policies and standards.
Qualifications
+ 1-2 years Cashier experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
+ Good communication and interpersonal skills
+ Commitment to continuous improvement and quality assurance
+ Ability to work in fast-paced ever-changing environment
+ Excellent customer service and organizational skills
+ Experience working with computerized systems
Licenses and Certifications
+ Food Handler’s Permit as required by applicable state and county. required
