    **Description:** You will be the Data Scientist Senior, responsible for delivering full\-stack data solutions across the entire data processing pipeline\. Our team is looking for a skilled data professional to design and implement solutions that span the data lifecycle, from collection to delivery, and we're excited to have you join our team\.

    What You Will Be Doing

    As the Data Scientist Senior, you will be responsible for building data pipelines, designing and implementing data solutions, and working through all stages of the data solution lifecycle\. You will have the opportunity to work with local, distributed, and cloud\-based technologies, data virtualization, and smart caching, as well as ensure the security and authentication of our data\.

    Your responsibilities will include:

    \-Building data pipelines to clean, transform, and aggregate unorganized data into databases or data sources

     

    \-Designing and implementing data solutions, including defining functional capabilities, security, back\-up, and recovery specifications

     

    \-Working through all stages of the data solution lifecycle, including data analysis, profiling, and modeling

     

    \-Maintaining data systems performance by identifying and resolving production and application development problems

     

    \-Defining standards, best practices, and certification processes for data objects

     

    \-Evaluating, integrating, and installing new releases to ensure optimal data system performance

    MUST BE A U\.S\. CITIZEN \- This position is located at a facility that requires special access\.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Bachelors degree

    • Demonstrated experience in Extract, Transform, and Load \(ETL\) data engineering

    • Demonstrated experience with REST APIs

    • Demonstrated experience with Java or Python

    • Demonstrated experience with Calculation Views

    Desired Skills:

    • Knowledge or experience with Automated Inspection and/or Machine Learning

    **Ability to Work Remotely:** Part\-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility\. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process\.

    **Work Schedules:** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees\. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed\. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits\.

    **Schedule for this Position:** 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
