    Job Description:

    Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Mission Support Officer** to join our team! In this role you will get to be part of a high performing team working in a fast paced environment providing both logistical and general administrative support to the Sponsor.

    What You'll Be Doing:

    Managing program/project implementation efforts making significant contributions to the work unit's goals and planning activities.

     

    Gathering and analyzing product plans and project objectives.

     

    Providing tracking, status reports, and logistics plans to support and ensure distribution and delivery commitments for manufacturing or servicing of products, equipment, and systems using the Sponsor's computer systems and applications/programs.

     

    Developing policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure quality and cost control.

     

    Conducting distribution and network studies, monitoring inventory, and analyzing requirements in order to develop strategies to achieve or improve desired results.

     

    Performing ad hoc logistical and general administrative tasks at the direction of the Sponsor to address changing mission requirements.

    What Required Skills You'll Bring:

    A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience (5+ years) performing general administrative tasks.

     

    Solid communication skills to include both verbal and written, with the ability to provide informal briefings/reports as needed by the Sponsor.

     

    Solid attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments in order to meet the Sponsor's mission requirements.

     

    The ability to work independently and as part of a high-performing team.

    What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

    5+ years experience working in Logistics.

     

    Experience working with Accountable Property and the associated tracking system.

     

    Experience working in a capacity supporting world wide operations and programs.

     

    Familiarity working the the Microsoft Office products including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

    Minimum Clearance Required to Start:

    Top Secret SCI w/Polygraph

    Salary Range: $86,700.00 - $151,700.00
