    Job Overview

     

    As an Electronics Technician for TE Connectivity, you will focus on verification-validation testing of high-speed products in cable assemblies targeting high speed communications and connectivity within datacenters and wireless infrastructure. You will work collaboratively within a broader cross functional team of electrical, mechanical, manufacturing, & operations to execute leading edge products designs, testing, and validation. You will tackle challenging design and testing problems to guide complex designs toward success.

    What your background should look like:

    • Testing and validation of high-speed cable assemblies

    • Rework of small electronic devices. This included soldering/de-soldering of active components and small discrete device on circuit boards

    • Inventory of lab supplies and cables used for internal development and customer qualification

    • 1-3 Years experience

    • Associates degree in Electronics or related field

    • Expert in soldering of small electronic components

    • Familiarity with electronics circuit boards and basic circuits

    • Familiarity with ESD handling procedure

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    • Ability to work in a global environment – able to accommodate varying time zones, fluent in English (verbal/written), able to collaborate with individuals across geographies

    • Individual must be highly motivated, a quick learner, and able to work independently

    COMPENSATION

    • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $76,000 – $95,000 (subject to change dependent on physical location)

    • Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.

    • Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
