    About our Team

     

    The Business Transformation Office is dedicated to driving organizational change and continuous improvement through effective project management, process optimization, and business analytics. This role sits within the Business Intelligence arm of the team, which leverages data to track progress, mitigate risks, and empower stakeholders across the organization to make informed, data-driven decisions in support of enterprise initiatives.

     

    About the Role

     

    In this role, you will partner closely with Operations Program Management to drive strategic initiatives through deep business and technical analysis, advanced metrics, and impactful storytelling in dashboards. This role requires a high level of independence, advanced problem-solving capabilities, and an ability to influence decision-making at various organizational levels. The ideal candidate is both a technical expert and strategic advisor, capable of delivering their own work while also shaping best practices, mentoring junior staff, and contributing to cross-functional initiatives.

     

    This is a home-based (remote) position. Preference will be given to candidates located near one of our U.S.-based offices to allow for occasional in-person collaboration as needed.

    Responsibilities

    Data Infrastructure

    + Analyze and understand complex, underlying data relationships across systems.

    + Translate issues and observations into clear Power BI dashboards with storylines that drive actionable insights.

    + Build relationships across data sets; design data models and SQL views that support robust analytics.

    + Identify and drive opportunities to improve data sourcing, transformation, and delivery through internal tools and automations. Explore and implement features such as deployment pipelines and automated refresh processes to improve efficiency, version control, and collaboration

    + Optimize the use of Power BI and its integration with other Microsoft tools (e.g., Azure, SharePoint, Excel, Power Automate) to streamline analytics workflows.

    + Serve as a subject matter expert and provide advisory support on data architecture and infrastructure best practices.

    Dashboards & Reporting

    + Develop scalable, user-friendly dashboards with drill-down capabilities used across multiple teams.

    + Create automated routines to support timely, consistent data delivery.

    + Provide consultative services, building quick prototypes and translating them into scalable dashboard solutions aligned with BI strategy.

    + Construct data models and repositories that transform raw data into usable, structured formats.

    + Lead continuous improvements in dashboard usability and data quality across tools and teams.

    Compliance & Analytical Integrity

    + Conduct advanced statistical modeling and root cause analysis to evaluate trends, detect anomalies, and assess performance metrics, ensuring data accuracy and alignment with industry standards.

    + Deliver actionable insights and consultative support to stakeholders, identifying data inconsistencies and recommending strategic, cost-effective solutions to inform decision-making.

    + Maintain comprehensive documentation and data infrastructure, including dashboards, data models, and change logs, to support transparency and continuous improvement.

    Strategic Data Visualization

    + Drive clarity through impactful data visualization and storytelling, converting complex insights into easily digestible visuals.

    + Ensure all technical solutions meet expected functionality and business needs through rigorous testing and iteration.

    + Influence dashboard design standards and provide guidance on effective data presentation strategies.

    Collaboration & Influence

    + Collaborate across business units to understand evolving data needs and build strong partnerships.

    + Share best practices across the organization and provide mentorship to junior team members.

    + Lead or support key project initiatives, contributing both analytical expertise and business insight.

    + Influence operations and BI strategy by identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation.

    Requirements

    + Proven expertise in collecting, modeling, transforming, and interpreting complex data to support business performance, operations strategy, and variance analysis.

    + Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Data Science, Business Analytics).

    + Recognized as a subject matter expert in BI reporting and dashboarding tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).

    + Advanced experience in SQL for data manipulation, view development, and model building.

    + Experience with data pipeline or ETL tools like Alteryx or Knime preferred.

    + Programming experience in R, Python, or similar languages, with working knowledge of libraries for data wrangling and statistical analysis.

    + Strong understanding of measurement systems, data governance, and data quality best practices.

    + Able to clearly communicate complex analytical findings to technical and non-technical audiences, including executives.

    + Demonstrated ability to operate independently and influence business decisions without direct supervision.

    + Excels in conceptual thinking and proactively makes recommendations for solutions and data-driven strategies.

    + Track record of mentoring and supporting junior analysts.

    + Operates effectively in a matrixed, cross-functional environment and actively contributes to team and enterprise-level success.

    Position is eligible for base salary plus an annual bonus.

    The salary range provided in this posting is the base salary range for Minnesota, Hawaii, and Colorado: $102,800 - 171,300 USD

     

    The salary range provided in this posting is the base salary range for Illinois, Maryland and Washington: $107,900 - 179,900 USD

     

    The salary range provided in this posting is the base salary range for California and Washington DC: $118,200 - 197,100 USD

     

    The salary range provided in this posting is the base salary range for New York and New Jersey: $113,100 - 188,500 USD
