    Scholastic Family and Community Engagement (FACE) and Literacy Partnerships Inside Sales Representatives work in an established territory to enhance partnerships within schools, districts, public libraries, and other community organizations. They collaborate with outside/field Account Executives to expand coverage and increase sales efforts.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    + A Scholastic Literacy Initiatives Inside Sales Representative will utilize phone, e-mail, mail, and web presentations (like Microsoft Teams) to retain existing customers and grow their business within the established territory. They will hold in-depth conversations about family and community engagement goals and how the extensive Scholastic Education product and service solutions can support their specific literacy initiatives.

    + They will hold in-depth conversations about family and community engagement goals and how the extensive Scholastic Education product solutions can support their specific school/district/organizational initiatives.

    + Meet established sales goals and contact rates

    + Build and maintain a sales pipeline

    + Attend Educational and community outreach conferences, trainings, and sales meetings.

    Qualifications

    Knowledge & Experience

    + Experience in sales or education would be beneficial, but is not required

    + Professional verbal and written communication

    + Strong Computer Skills (Salesforce, MS Office, Google Suite, Outlook, etc.)

    + Digital Presentation skills

    + Organizational and time management skills

    + Thrive in a fun and fast-paced environment with the ability to multitask and re-prioritize as need.
