• Rehabilitation Services Technician

    University of Virginia (Charlottesville, VA)


    The Rehabilitation Services Technician assists professional therapy staff to achieve optimum patient care by completing assigned tasks.

     

    + Assists therapy staff with patient care as directed.

    + Assists therapists with equipment and supply needs.

    + Actively participates in professional growth activities.

    + In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned.

     

    Position Compensation Range: $15.00 - $19.39 Hourly

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    Education: High School Graduate or Equivalent

     

    Experience: No experience required

     

    Licensure: American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS

    Job requires frequently bending/stooping/traveling. Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull 50 – 100lbs. May be exposed to blood/body fluids and infectious disease.
