Cardiology Technician - Stress Testing

Performs 12-Lead ECG, documents vital signs during stress testing, and electronic clinical workflow.
+ Demonstrates the cognitive and technical skills required to acquire a 12-lead electrocardiogram (ECG) including appropriate preparation of skin surfaces correct placement of electrodes and leads accurate patient identification and verification electronic upload of the ECG to the patient's electronic medical record.
+ Demonstrates proficiency in the configuration, communication, clinical use and troubleshooting of FDA-approved medical devices including stress testing equipment.
+ In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned.
Position Compensation Range: $15.37 - $23.82 Hourly
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: High School Graduate or Equivalent.
Experience: No experience required.
Licensure: American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification must be obtained within six months of hire.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Job requires sitting/standing for prolonged periods, frequently bending/stooping/traveling, reaching (overhead, extensive, repetitive); Repetitive motion: Keyboard, console and workstation repetitive motion. Ability to lift/push/pull 20 – 50lbs. May be exposed to blood/body fluids and infectious disease.
