Platt College Los Angeles consists of four Southern California campuses located in Alhambra, Ontario, Riverside and Anaheim. + Compensation Range: $ 68,640 - 80,000 /year DOE

The Director of Financial Aid will provide direction and leadership for the Financial Aid Department. The Director of Financial Aid will manage the Financial Aid Department with a special emphasis on compliance with federal regulations, school policy and service to the students.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

+ Experience with the budget process as well as an overview of A/R and A/P

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills

+ Demonstrated Leadership Ability

+ Superior organizational and problem resolution skills

+ Strong basic computer software (MS Office) skills as well as exposure to specific financial aid software programs such as CampusVue, SAINT, WebGrants, and NSLDS

Credentials and Experience:

+ Associate’s degree is required, Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred

+ A minimum of three years of recent experience as a Director of Financial Aid is required, preferably in a post-secondary institution, OR comparable management experience preferred

+ In depth knowledge of principles, practices, methodology, and procedures for the provision of student financial aid

+ Knowledge of college’s policies pertaining to the provision of student financial aid
