    Job Descriptions:

    A Retail Branch Manager leads a team responsible for exceptional customer service, operational soundness, and the maintenance of long-term profitable customer relationships through the sale of bank products. The branch manager is expected to have thorough knowledge of bank systems, products, services, policies and applicable bank regulation. This position works closely with the Senior Branch Administrator to attain branch- and Bank-established goals.

    $1,000 Signing Bonus offered ($500 after 30 days; $500 after 90 days)

    o Manages the branch service, sales and operations functions to achieve the strategic goals of the branch.o Executes and communicates direction and vision of the branch and bank to the branch team.o Strives to meet and exceed personal and branch sales goals by identifying and evaluating customer needs and recommending appropriate products.o Seeks out opportunities to sell and cross-sell products and services and refers customers to other bank sales personnel, when appropriate.o Serves as the key contact to gain, build and maintain the customer banking relationship by employing the skills learned for all stages of the sales process.o Provides high quality, professional customer service by adhering to the bank’s customer service standards.o Resolves and responds to client service issues, complex customer questions and complaints.o Demonstrates community involvement by being a visible and active referral source.o Provides sales leadership, through their own production, as well as the oversight of sales and services tasks.o Participates in employee development and own one’s own self-development. Responsible fo training, coaching and mentoring employees.o Directs the work of managed employees. o Recommends promotions or other changes in employee status. Handle employee complaints and grievances, discipline employees.o Performs all types of customer transactions, as needed, including teller functions, new account opening, loan application processing, etc.o Completes assigned training and participates/supports sales meetings and campaigns.o Ensures documents and reports are accurate and produced in a timely manner.o Follows bank policies and procedures regarding security and employment practices.o Ensures satisfactory audits and operational soundness.o Demonstrates proficiency in consumer lending.o Maintains the Bank’s culture and core values.o Other responsibilities and projects as assigned.

    Required Experience:

    Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, good understanding of the principals of banking and our business operates, and strong technical skills required to effectively use bank systems, train and coach staff and assist customers with self-serve tools such as mobile banking, online account applications, etc. Strong knowledge of computer programs, i.e. word processing, spreadsheets, etc.

    Experience: Retail banking experience and strong managerial competencies required

    Education: High school diploma or general education (GED) required. A two-year college degree, completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school or a bachelor’s degree is preferred. A combination of education and experience may meet requirements.
