Our client, a leader in the medical device industry, is seeking a Medical Device Design Engineer to join their team. As a Medical Device Design Engineer, you will be part of a dynamic cross-disciplinary team supporting innovative medical device projects. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

**Job Title:** Medical Device Design Engineer

**Location:** San Antonio, TX (hybrid role)

**Pay Range: $28 to** $35 per hour

Duration: 12 month contract

What's the Job?

+ Lead design efforts under the guidance of Senior Engineers on design change initiatives.

+ Oversee execution of project deliverables as assigned.

+ Interface with various departments to drive projects forward.

+ Create testing protocols and verification documentation as part of product design changes.

+ Analyze test data using statistical tools and generate detailed technical reports.

What's Needed?

+ Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or similar disciplines.

+ **3 years of experience in the Medical Device industry.**

+ Experience in regulated design environments, particularly in medical device development.

+ Strong understanding of fundamental mechanical principles.

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products: Excel, Word, Project.
