    Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking a Press Operator Trainee to join their team. As a Press Operator Trainee, you will be part of the production department supporting the manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently, which will align successfully in the organization.

     

    **Job Title:** Press Operator Trainee

    **Location:** Paducah, KY

    **Pay Range:** Starting at $21.09/hr

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Measure and examine extruded products to locate defects and ensure conformance to specifications.

    + Adjust controls as necessary to alter products and determine setup procedures.

    + Operate and maintain Cadex press operation software.

    + Change dies on extruding machines according to production line changes.

    + Troubleshoot, maintain, and make minor repairs to equipment.

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + 1 - 2 years in a manufacturing environment, preferably in automotive.

    + High School diploma or G.E.D; some college preferred.

    + Basic math and computer skills.

    + Able to read and interpret extrusion drawings.

    + Ability to work with minimum supervision.
