    Grow your career as a Corporate Policy Analyst with an innovative global bank in Tampa, FL. Contract role with strong possibility of extension. Will require working a hybrid schedule 3 days onsite per week.

     

    Join one of the world's most renowned global banks and trusted brand with over 200 years of continuously evolving financial services worldwide. Will be creating, launching and managing services-wide policy function, including at times development, issuance, approval, review, communication, and maintenance. Will work with senior leadership and partners throughout the Legal, Independent Compliance Risk Management, Security & Regulatory Strategy & Policy to execute on various projects. You will work alongside some of the smartest minds in the industry who are excited to share their knowledge and to learn from you.

     

    Contract Duration: 9 Months

    Required Skills & Experience

    + 15+ years of experience in Compliance, Operational Risk, Legal or other control related function within a financial services firm, regulatory organization, or legal/consulting firm.

    + Strong project management expertise.

    + Must have Policy Management and/or Governance experience.

    + Policy expertise & experience in policy and procedure drafting.

    + Background in compliance.

    + Track record leading Control related projects and programs.

    + Proven track record in risk and control oversight (including significant experience in identifying risks, control issues, implementing corrective actions and best practices).

    + Experience managing staff.

    + Strong communication and diplomacy skills.

    + Outstanding communication and presentation skills.

    + Ability to articulate complex problems and solutions through concise and clear messaging.

    + Team player who is adaptive and resilient amid change.

    + Highly motivated, strong attention to detail, team oriented.

    What You Will Be Doing

    + Receive and disseminate policies from the enterprise level.

    + Update and maintain service-owned policy and procedure documents.

    + Establish Services level metrics and quality assurance standards/framework for the Policy program.

    + Monitor and report metrics and KPIs related to policies and procedures.

    + Create and execute a written due diligence process.

    + Review current Policy Gap Analysis and create a plan for remediation for all Tier 1 Laws, Rules and Regulations and the Services document catalogue.

    + Perform Document QA on standards, procedures and frameworks on sample basis.

    + Organize workshops and coordinate discussion with owner of policies, standards and procedures.

    + Enhance first line oversight of Policy implementation requirements, oversee administration and maintenance of the implementing Standards and Procedures, and establish a governance construct for their review and approval of these documents.
