_Ensuring Chart’s Success…_
The Quality Engineer reports to the Quality Manager and assists the quality department team in supporting the Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) policy.
_What Will You Do?_
+ Maintaining the nonconformance and CAPA program.
+ Coordinating the performance and completion of required employee training, through theutilization of Chart’s Master Control program, to develop and improve employee proficiency.
+ Coordinating and perform equipment validations in preparation for use in production.
+ Ensuring inspection, measuring, and test equipment (IMTE) used at the Chart Tulsa facility is calibrated and maintained current.
+ Designs, installs, and evaluates quality process sampling systems, procedures, and statistical techniques.
+ Assists in the formulation of quality procedures and plans, and recommends revision of specifications when indicated.
+ Interfaces with engineering and production components within the company, and with customers and suppliers on quality-related issues.
+ Develop inspection methods to analyze product quality
+ Improve product quality by making recommendations for change
+ Work together with relevant teams and departments to improve products
+ Ensure products adhere to company and industry quality standards
+ Brainstorm ideas to create solutions for identified problems
+ Formulate a strategic plan to increase productivity in the business
+ Document results and findings after inspections are carried out
+ Implement a working system to ensure conformity and accuracy in the production process
_Your Physical Work Environment Will Require…_
+ Manufacturing Plant Environment - required PPE as necessary
+ The ability to lift 25 lbs.
+ Stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, lifting, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, repetitive motion, and other movement as necessary
_Your Experience Should Be..._
+ 5 years of prior relevant experience
+ Experience in welding industry, such as AWS and/or ASME,
+ Professional certification through American Society for Quality (ASQ), such as CQE (Certified Quality Engineer) and/or CQA (Certified Quality Auditor)
+ Experience in Auditing
+ Experience in ISO 9001, ISO 14001and ISO 45001 management systems
+ BS in Engineering, Physical Science, or other relevant technical field
