    The EMT will be responsible for:

    + Assisting in the care of critically ill neonatal and pediatric patients.

    + Managing transport equipment.

    + Operating the Boston Children’s Hospital ambulance.

    + Managing radio critical care transport team telephone requests.

    + Manage Emergency Department referrals (“expects”) from the region.

    + Arranging ambulance discharges from Boston Children’s Hospital.

    + Trauma activations.

    + Coordinating the transfer of diagnostic images.

    + Facilitating telemedicine consults with several hospital emergency departments.

    To qualify, you must have:

    + A High School diploma or equivalent.

    + A current valid driver’s license.

    + A Minimum of 3 years EMT experience (experience in a 911 system is preferred).

    + Good communication skills.

    + The ability to work on a team

    *Sign-on bonus of $5,000.00 if hired before 1/31/25 (who have not worked at BCH in the past 2 years.)
