Real Estate Attorney - New York, NY

**Description:** We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Real Estate Attorney to join the New York office of Fox Rothschild. The ideal candidate will have eight to ten years of experience, a strong background in leasing, representing landlords, tenants, buyers, and sellers. We are not currently accepting resumes from search firms for this position.

**Qualifications:** Juris Doctorate (JD) required. Must be licensed in the State of New York.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

+ Proven experience in real estate transactions across multiple asset classes, with a focus on leasing and acquisitions.

+ Strong research, writing skills, and academic record.

+ Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with an attention to detail.

+ Experience in the retail industry, commercial real estate, and land use law.

+ Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic real estate team.

+ Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

+ Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Manage real estate transactions for various asset classes, including retail, office, and industrial properties.

+ Negotiate and draft lease agreements, purchase contracts, and other related legal documents.

+ Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful transaction outcomes.

+ Provide advice and representation of landlords, tenants, buyers, and sellers in leasing and acquisition activities.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

+ This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment including, but not limited to computers, telephones, printers, and copiers.

Physical Requirements

+ Sedentary work: Exertion of physical strength to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects up to 10 pounds. Work involves sitting most of the time. Walking and standing is often necessary in carrying out job duties.

Visual Acuity

+ Worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.

Compensation & Benefits

+ The salary range for this position applies to New York. The salary range reflects a variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to experience, education, licensure and/or certifications, geographic location, market demands and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for a position. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this position is $275,000 - $295,000 in New York.
