ERP Test Engineer - Secret Clearance Required to Start!

Join **General Dynamics IT** and be a part of a team that solve some of the world's most complex technical challenges. The **Navy Standard Integrated Personnel System - Navy Personnel and Pay (NSIPS-NP2)** is seeking a **Test Engineer** to join their team.

NSIPS-NP2 is the Navy's single, field-entry, electronic pay and personnel system for all USN/USNR Sailors. The program overall will maintain Navy O&M and Research/Development/Test and Evaluation (RDTE) for Navy Personnel and Pay systems.

You will work closely with developers, system analysts, and other members of the test department to develop and maintain test documentation and test cases for the United States Navy Pay and Personnel System.

• Participate in testing, troubleshooting and analysis on the development of systems.

• Provide support in the development, implementation and maintenance of test processes and diagnostic programs.

• Develop and document Testing processes and procedures for the environment as necessary

• Create, update, and maintain a Master Test Plan

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

• **Education: Bachelors or** **equivalent experience** **(3 years of additional experience may be substituted for a Bachelor Degree)**

• Required Experience: BS or equivalent + 3 yrs related experience, or MS + 1 yrs related experience.

• **Security Clearance Level: Secret or Interim Secret Clearance before start Date**

• Required Skills and Abilities: Familiarity, training or experience with PeopleSoft. Working Knowledge and experience with the Navy's Pay systems, DOD Systems.

• Preferred Skills: Oracle PL/SQL scripting and tools highly desired. Understanding of Microsoft Teams, Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) Quality Center, Phire, Naval-Lift Jira, and Zephyr are desired. ISTQB Certified Tester, Foundation Level certification or equivalent highly desired.

The likely salary range for this position is $62,962 - $80,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
