    Description

    Michelle Espejo with Robert Half Finance & Accounting is recruiting for a Management Company Accountant at a venture capital firm in Palo Alto. This is a full-time, permanent position with a hybrid (1-2 days a week in office) schedule.

     

    Join a globally recognized VC firm with $1B in assets, focused on early-stage tech investments and supporting innovative U.S. entrepreneurs. As the firm continues to grow, this role offers strong potential for impact and advancement.

     

    You’ll work closely with a hands-on CFO in a collaborative environment, with perks including fully paid health insurance, flexible scheduling, gym memberships, and rideshare credits.

    Responsibilities:

    + Manage general ledger and accounts payable, including reconciliations

    + Oversee month-end and quarter-end processes, including financial closings

    + Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting

    + Collaborate with international offices and engage in cross-cultural communication

    Requirements

    + 5+ years of accounting experience, with expertise in general ledger and accounts payable in financial services - no exceptions

    + Ability to handle high-volume tasks, reconciliations, and financial closings

    + Detail-oriented, adaptable, and deadline-driven

    + Cross-cultural communication skills
