Michelle Espejo with Robert Half Financial Services is recruiting for an Operations Manager at a boutique Wealth Management firm. This is a full-time permanent role based in San Mateo.

Responsibilities

+ Lead the onboarding process for new clients and ensure a seamless, high-touch experience.

+ Manage account setup, transfers, and financial planning workflows, including e-delivery and beneficiary configurations.

+ Assist clients with accessing secure portals and using financial planning tools.

+ Prepare proposals, reports, and paperwork for client meetings, and handle all follow-up tasks.

+ Maintain accurate client records in CRM systems like ClientWorks and Redtail.

+ Support daily operations by refining procedures, monitoring compliance alerts, and managing marketing activities.

+ Oversee team operations, including task delegation, training, payroll, benefits, and performance reviews.

+ Plan and execute a minimum of three client events per year, handling logistics and ensuring brand and compliance alignment.

Requirements

+ 8+ years in wealth management, ideally in a small RIA - NO EXCEPTIONS on Financial Services background

+ 3+ years of experience leading and mentoring team members

+ Solid understanding of leading HR operations within a small to midsize firm

+ Outstanding time management, organizational, and communication skills

+ Experience with Microsoft Office and CRM systems (Redtail a big plus!)
