    Description

    Robert Half is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to support frequents needs for local clients in McMinnville, OR, on a contract basis.     As an Accounting Clerk, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of daily financial and administrative functions.

    Requirements

    Responsibilities:

    + Process accounts payable (A/P) and accounts receivable (A/R) transactions accurately and in a timely manner.

    + Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.

    + Assist with preparing financial reports and maintaining general ledger entries.

    + Handle data entry and ensure all financial records are complete and up to date.

    + Support payroll processing and other accounting-related tasks.

    + Collaborate with the team to resolve any invoice or payment discrepancies.

    + Provide administrative support, including filing documents and managing correspondence as needed.

    Qualifications:

    + Experience: 1+ years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping (preferred but not required for entry-level candidates with strong skills).

    + Education: Associate’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).

    + Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software (QuickBooks experience is a plus).

    + Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational abilities, and effective communication skills.
