In **Mesquite** , Nevada:

Allied Universal Security is seeking **Armed Security Officers** to join our Armed Government Buildings team in a **full time schedule!**

_Schedule: 7:30am - 5:30pm Weekdays!_

_Uniforms and Equipment at no cost!_

Must have: 2** **year** **minimum of verifiable ARMED employment** **OR** **200hr Training Experience Required in one or more of the following:

+ Military Discharge Document (DD214)

+ Proof of graduation from Law Enforcement Academy (POST – Peace Officer Standard Training)

+ Verification of Employment Letter/Email from previous employer. Must Include Company Letterhead, Point of Contact, and Phone Number.

Ideal candidates will:

+ **Have 2 year minimum of verifiable ARMED employment OR 200hr Training Experience Required** **(see above)**

+ Have professional demeanor and appearance

+ Demonstrate Excellent Customer Service Skills

+ Preferably be a graduate of law enforcement or military police training

_Paid Orientation, Medical, Dental, Vision and 401k for Full-Time Employees!_

_Pay $19.75 Hourly_

Responsibilities:

+ Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry specific security/safety training programs

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

*A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only
