Operations Services Specialist

The Operations Services Specialist serves as the coordinator of various aspects of Operations projects. This includes the planning, monitoring, and execution of project activities. This individual will ensure all work within Operations is planned, aligned, and supported for successful execution.
+ Acts as a liaison between the Operations department and all Field Support Center (FSC) departments.
+ Ensures all work coming to Operations is ready for execution.
+ Provides visibility and alignment to all strategic work that affects Operations.
+ Collaborates with project team in building project scope, timeline, and allocating resources as they impact operations.
+ Monitors and works to maintain project deliverable schedule, milestones, and required tasks against scope and timelines and initiates Change Management processes as appropriate.
+ Provides clear operational leadership from project kick off to project closure.
+ Anticipates, plans, and solves cross functional dependencies as they impact Operations.
+ Develops and maintains Operations project delivery schedule on Monday.com and other reporting vehicles.
Minimum Education and/or Experience:
+ Bachelor’s degree in business and strategic planning skills a plus, supplemented by three (3) years of experience in aviation, hospitality, or related industry or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Additional knowledge and skills:
+ Rapid problem-solving skills including the ability to quickly prioritize.
+ Strong communication skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities and communicate effectively both upward and downward within the organization (written and verbal).
+ Excellent analytical, planning, project management, problem-solving, negotiation, and organizational skills.
+ Use of Project Managed Tools such as Roadmaps, Gantt charts, and Monday.com.
+ Ability to solve problems and think on their feet. Displays strong critical thinking skills.
+ Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
+ Flexible and able to change to meet the needs of the day-to-day requirements.
+ Embraces an Ownership Mentality including high involvement, engagement, and participation with an understanding that their contribution will have an impact on the business.
