    Job Title: Tool and Die Maker

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated Tool and Die Maker to join a leading manufacturer of flexible tubing, sheet metal, and fabricated parts. The role requires expertise in using a range of equipment including CNC Brake presses, CNC Mills, Manual Mills, Boring Mills, Tube Mills, CNC Lathes, EDMs, turrets, lasers, shears, drill presses, grinders, welders, and powder coating equipment. You will be responsible for die design using CAD, repairing and building progressive and single-hit dies, toolmaking and repair for CNC machinery, building fixtures for the machining area, operating conventional machinery when needed, and interpreting blueprints to make or repair fixtures and tooling.

    Responsibilities

    + Design and repair dies using CAD software.

    + Build and repair progressive and single-hit dies.

    + Create and repair tooling for CNC machinery.

    + Build fixtures for the machining area.

    + Operate conventional machinery such as mills and lathes.

    + Read, interpret, and work off blueprints to make or repair fixtures and tooling.

    Essential Skills

    + 5+ years of Tool and Die Maker experience.

    + 5+ years of CNC/Manual Machinist experience.

    + Proficiency in CAD software for designing/building machinery.

    + Ability to build and repair single-hit and progressive dies.

    + Experience with CNC machinery tooling repair.

    + Blueprint reading and interpretation skills.

    + Possession of own tools/toolbox including micrometers, calipers, gauges, and tape measure.

    + Basic math skills such as addition and subtraction.

    + Experience with holding tolerances.

     

    Work Environment

     

    The work environment is a fabrication shop equipped with various presses, lasers, shears, and metal fabrication equipment. The toolroom houses CNC and manual machinery such as EDMs, mills, lathes, and boring mills. The facility is notably clean and well-lit, offering a pleasant workspace compared to most fabrication shops.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Elkhart, Indiana.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $62400.00/yr.

    - 1st shift only operation

     

    Workplace Type

     

    This is a fully onsite position in Elkhart,IN.
