We are seeking a highly organized and proactive R&D Shop Operations Lead to oversee the daily operations of our Research & Development shop.** **This role is essential in ensuring efficiency, organization, and functionality within the shop, supporting our engineering and research teams in their innovation efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

+ **Inventory & Supply Management:** Order and maintain necessary supplies, tools, and equipment to ensure seamless operations.

+ **Shop Organization:** Encourage and maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace for technicians and engineers while balancing the need for high velocity and throughput in a product development environment.

+ **Equipment Maintenance:** Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on shop equipment to ensure optimal performance.

+ **Project Support:** Assist engineers and technicians with prototype assembly, testing, and modifications.

+ **Safety & Compliance:** Proactively identify and correct potential safety hazards to maintain a safe work environment.

+ **Vendor Coordination:** Work with suppliers and vendors to procure materials and manage deliveries.

+ **Process Improvement:** Identify opportunities to enhance shop efficiency and workflow.

Qualifications:

+ Experience in shop management, inventory control, or equipment maintenance.

+ Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

+ Ability to work collaboratively with engineers and technicians.

+ Knowledge of mechanical systems and tools.

+ Excellent communication and multitasking abilities.

Your Compensation

This position will pay within the range of $49,152-$94,171, based on experience.
