    There is currently one (1) position that exists in our Intermediate School. This position will support teacher absences as needed. The incumbent will work on all regular school days.

     

    Note: There is a longevity incentive for substitute teaching.

    50-74 full days = $300

    75 - 99 full days = $400

     

    100+ full days = $500

    Job Qualifications

    + NYS Certification is required.

    + Certifications for specific grade levels between 4-6 are preferred but not required.

    + Must be comfortable working with students.

    + Ability to work independently, facilitate group dynamics, exercise good judgment and show initiative.

    + Ability to make a commitment to academic excellence.

    + Have an ability to communicate effectively with staff and students.
