About the Role & Team
Disney’s Direct to Consumer (DTC) team oversees the Hulu and Disney+ streaming businesses within Disney Entertainment, helping to bring The Walt Disney Company’s best-in-class storytelling to fans and families everywhere.
The Disney+ Global Content Programming and Subscriber Engagement team is responsible for leading content planning, scheduling, on-service merchandising, slate management, and programming insights that contribute to a cohesive strategic content approach for the service.
What you will do
The Administrative Assistant will report to and provide executive support for the VP, Disney+ Global Content Planning and Scheduling. The ideal candidate can handle the complexities of managing an executive's office in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with tact and professionalism. They possess a keen attention to detail and excel at anticipating needs, coordinating complex schedules, multitasking effectively, and communicating clearly to ensure the seamless execution of daily operations.
Responsibilities
+ **Calendar and Schedule Management:** Efficiently manage the executive’s calendar, coordinate meetings across multiple time zones, and organize travel and logistics to optimize their time. Regularly audit the calendar in partnership with the executive to ensure meetings are productive and well-aligned.
+ **Administrative Support and Proactive Assistance:** Handle a variety of administrative tasks to ensure smooth office operations, including booking travel and managing itineraries, processing Travel & Expenses in accordance with company policies, screening calls and voicemails, and preparing confidential memos or business updates. Proactively anticipate the executive’s needs to enhance productivity and minimize disruptions.
+ **Team Support:** Provide ad hoc assistance to the broader team, such as ordering supplies, managing equipment needs, supporting onboarding of new employees, and handling miscellaneous office errands (e.g., greeting guests).
+ **Meeting Coordination and Document Preparation:** Manage agendas for multiple meetings, take detailed notes, track action items, and ensure timely follow-up. Prepare or update key business documents and presentation materials as needed for meetings and presentations.
Required Qualifications & Skills
+ 3+ years of experience as an Administrative or Executive Assistant supporting a Director or higher.
+ Proven track record of supporting executives effectively within a fast-paced, corporate setting.
+ Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and Google Workspace (Slides, Docs, Sheets).
+ Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize independently, managing diverse assignments efficiently and on time.
+ Thrives in a dynamic environment with strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a commitment to follow-through.
+ Self-starter with a solutions-oriented mindset.
+ Consistently maintains professionalism, diplomacy, and tact, with the ability to handle highly confidential information discreetly.

Preferred Qualifications
+ Genuine passion for The Walt Disney Company's segments, brands, and franchises.
+ Experience working in a fast-paced corporate environment, with a preference for experience within the SVOD sector.
+ Prior experience with SAP and Concur is a plus.
Required Education
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
Additional Information
+ This position is based in the Glendale office 4 days a week (typically Monday through Thursday) and offers the flexibility to work from home on Fridays.
The hiring range for this position in Glendale, CA is $64,300 to $86,200 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
