    BluePearl** **Specialty + Emergency Pet Hospital** **is seeking a dedicated Kennel Assistant to join their team!

    A Kennel Assistant attends to the basic needs of animals that are patients of the hospital and cleans the hospital facility, equipment, and tools. The role may include assistance with basic patient care such as safe restraint of patients during treatment.

    As a Kennel Assistant, you will:

    + Maintain the cleanliness of the hospital, including kennel area, runs, treatment area, and outside grounds.

    + Provide routine attention to patients, including walking dogs

    + Monitor and record important information about the animals’ conditions, behavior and habits (elimination, eating, etc.).

    + Clean treatment, exam, surgery and lab areas daily.

    + Maintain laundry throughout the day and keep laundry area neat.

    + Ability to work to work up to four days weekly, including one weekend day per week and some holidays

    + Monitor and maintain inventory to include food, cleaning supplies, laundry supplies, etc.

    + Assist with facility equipment and minor repairs

    + Safely approach and restrain cooperative patients as needed during treatments.
