Job Duties

We are currently looking to add a dynamic pole technician to our passionate team of electrical facility maintenance. Your office is outdoors, and you get a new view every day!

Qualifications

What You’ll Do:

+ Properly inspect utility poles by visually looking for holes and damage to identify work

+ Execute work orders to tend poles by drilling and filling holes with the proper material

+ Understand and practice all safety measures to ensure job site safety

+ Maintain, prepare and operate all tools and equipment including, hammers, chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts and more

+ Every day there is something new to do!

Additional Information

What We’re Seeking:

+ Love of the outdoors

+ Ability to complete Electrical Hazard Awareness Program and OSHA training

+ Ability to complete the Davey Tree First Aid, CPR and defensive driving course upon hire

+ Required: valid driver’s license

+ Preferred: Commercial Driver’s License-Class A or B with Airbrake Endorsement

+ Preferred: pole test and treat experience or other related work

+ Preferred: relevant pesticide and related licenses and certificates, if required by state law

+ Preferred: ISA Certified Arborist®, ISA Certified Tree Worker®, and/or TCIA Certified Tree Care Safety Professional®
