    Our promise to you:

Being part of Tampa Brass & Aluminum Corporation means joining a team driven by precision, innovation, and excellence. It’s about contributing to industries that shape the future—defense, aerospace, and industrial markets—while upholding the highest standards of quality. Here, you’ll be valued for your skills, dedication, and the unique expertise you bring. Together, we are more than just a manufacturing company—we are a team committed to pushing boundaries, delivering excellence, and making an impact.

    Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Document Control Specialist to support our teams in Quality Control, Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), and Human Resources. In this role, you will be responsible for scanning, renaming, organizing, and maintaining confidential documents sourced from both physical and digital formats. This is a high-volume, process-driven position that requires accuracy, discretion, and the ability to work independently in a structured environment.

If you are someone who finds satisfaction in organization, repetition, and helping critical departments run smoothly, this role offers both consistency and impact.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

+ Retrieve and handle confidential files from shared network drives and physical office archives.

+ Scan and rename documents according to internal naming conventions and filing systems.

+ Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of sensitive materials, including HR and QC records.

+ Organize files into digital systems for long-term accessibility, audit-readiness, and compliance.

+ Conduct periodic audits to ensure documentation consistency and accuracy.

+ Work collaboratively with NDT, HR, and QC personnel to support documentation workflows.

+ Operate and maintain scanning equipment and assist with document process improvements.

+ Support administrative and compliance-related record-keeping as needed.

    Qualifications:

+ High school diploma or GED required, associate degree preferred.

+ Prior experience in document control, file management, or administrative work in manufacturing is a plus.

+ Comfortable with repetitive work and high-volume document processing.

+ Proficient in file naming conventions, digital filing systems, and basic computer operations.

+ High attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.

+ Discretion and professionalism when handling confidential materials.

+ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and meet deadlines.

    Physical Requirements:

+ Ability to sit or stand for long periods while scanning or organizing documents.

+ Capability to lift file boxes up to 30 lbs occasionally.

+ Comfortable working in an office environment within a manufacturing facility.

We are an equal opportunity employer.
