What you can expect:
As a Lead Security DevOps Engineer, you will be part of a team responsible for deploying and operating datacenter and cloud software infrastructure at Zoom. You will be a senior member of the Security DevOps team, which is responsible for some of Zoom's most security-critical production infrastructure (including secrets management and delivery, deployment pipelining, and PKI). You will define, drive, and implement projects that enable new features, improve the safety and availability of our systems, enhance our security posture, and reduce costs.
Responsibilities:
+ Define and drive projects that modernize our secrets management infrastructure and/or deliver automation
+ Work across teams to get your projects done, while also making significant direct hands-on contributions to the projects
+ Drive improvements to the security posture across Zoom
+ Influence the direction of developer teams that own security infrastructure components
+ Produce designs and lead more junior team members through their implementation and deployment to production at scale, using modern best practices (e.g. IaC)
+ Communicate with stakeholders including security teams and senior managers
What you’ll have:
Minimum Required
+ BS/MS (CS or related major preferred)
+ 8+ years of SRE or DevOps experience
+ Experience with at least one programming language, in addition to scripting languages
+ Experience with logging and monitoring tools (e.g. ELK stack, Prometheus, Grafana)
+ Experience with cloud providers (e.g. AWS , OCI) and cloud infrastructure technologies (e.g. Terraform , kubernetes )
+ Experience with security from a DevOps perspective (e.g. running Vault )
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills - ability to translate complex technical solutions into clear communication
+ Flexible with a positive attitude to learn quickly in a dynamic and ambiguous environment
+ Proactive, accountable, able to think creatively
+ Able to participate in on-call shifts, incident response, and work after hours/weekends for application releases/deployments
Salary Range or On Target Earnings:
Minimum:
$124 000,00
Maximum:
$271 200,00
In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration; base salary, bonus and equity value.
Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.
We also have a location based compensation structure; there may be a different range for candidates in this and other locations
