Responsibilities:

+ Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive suite of database management tools and platforms, using Java as the primary development language;

+ Design and build advanced data synchronization and subscription platforms to support efficient data distribution and access;

+ Develop platforms for data comparison and correction to ensure data accuracy and consistency across systems;

+ Create robust database restoration and automatic recovery platforms to minimize data loss and ensure business continuity;

+ Implement monitoring platforms for real-time tracking of database performance and health;

+ Spearhead automated operations platforms to enhance database deployment, maintenance, and scaling processes;

+ Enforce data security measures, perform regular security assessments, and ensure compliance with data protection laws and standards;

+ Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in database management and Java development, applying best practices to our operations; and

+ Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, particularly with our Global team, to integrate database solutions across the organization.

What we're looking for:

+ Requires a Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, a related field, or a foreign degree equivalent;

+ Must have 3 years of experience in job offered or related occupation;

+ Must have 3 years of experience in Java programming and developing database management systems;

+ Must have 3 years of experience in Relational (MySQL, Oracle) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB);

+ Must have 3 years of experience in developing comprehensive data synchronization solutions;

+ Must have 3 years of experience in implementing data comparison and correction mechanisms to ensure data accuracy and consistency across databases;

+ Must have 3 years of experience in working with large-scale database environments, and automated database operations; and

+ Must have 3 years of experience in Java and related frameworks, with a deep understanding of JVM, concurrency, and multi-threading.

+ Telecommuting work arrangement permitted: position may work in various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. Position does not require domestic or international travel.

Salary Range or On Target Earnings:

Minimum:

$150,762.00

Maximum:

$186,000.00

In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration; base salary, bonus and equity value.

Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.

We also have a location based compensation structure; there may be a different range for candidates in this and other locations.
