Work Schedule:

+ Full-time schedule of 36 hours per week (or average 72 hours per pay period).

+ Rotating shifts, primarily daylight and evening hours.

Responsibilities:

+ Uses two patient identifiers to identify all patients and documents patient history.

+ Presents relevant patient information to the physician and assesses physician orders.

+ Labels, prepares, and administers contrast.

+ Ensures all exams are properly coded and tracked, all patient information is updated and documented, and all charges are entered correctly in appropriate systems.

+ Practices and maintains MR safety while performing procedures.

+ Interacts and communicates with both patients and co-workers while displaying a high level of caring, listening, dignity, and respect.

+ Graduate of an ARRT-approved school of Radiologic Technology or completion of an accredited CNMT, ARMRIT, or ARDMS program.

+ ARRT registry-eligible technologists must obtain ARRT within 6 months of hire date, and then MR registry within 18 months of primary registry acquisition.

+ CNMT, ARDMS, and ARMRIT graduates must obtain MR registry within 12 months of hire date.

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:

+ ARRT Certificate, ARMRIT, NMTC, or ARDMS

+ Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) within 30 days of hire.

+ Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting, Act 33, Act 34, and Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewals
