We are seeking a compassionate and dependable STNA Transportation Driver to join our team at Eagle Pointe. This dual-role position involves providing transportation services for our residents and assisting with basic care as a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) when needed. The ideal candidate will ensure residents are transported safely and respectfully while upholding our standards of care.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Transport residents to medical appointments, dialysis, and other approved outings using facility vehicles.
+ Provide physical assistance and use proper transfer techniques to help residents in and out of vehicles.
+ Ensure wheelchair-bound residents are properly secured.
+ Maintain daily vehicle inspection logs and notify maintenance of issues.
+ Assist nursing staff with resident care duties when not driving (ADLs, ambulation, toileting, etc.).
+ Maintain accurate transport records and documentation.
+ Comply with HIPAA and infection control standards at all times.
Requirements:
+ Active State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) certification in the state of OH.
+ Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
+ CPR and First Aid Certification (preferred).
+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with physical transfers.
+ Experience with elderly or disabled populations.
+ Strong communication and time management skills.
