Position: Grading Foreman

Employment Type: Full-Time, Long-Term

What are we looking for? We are looking Grading Foreman to run a grading crew and ensures the project tasks set by the Project Superintendent are being properly completed, and the crew is properly staffed and equipped.

What you will get to do:

+ Responsible for the interpretation of the construction drawings and specifications related to the Project.

+ Inspect work progress, equipment, or construction sites to verify safety or to ensure that specifications are met.

+ Train workers in construction methods, operation of equipment, safety procedures, or company policies.

+ Locate, measure, and mark site locations or placement of structures or equipment, using measuring and marking equipment.

+ Confer with managerial or technical personnel, other departments, or contractors to resolve problems or to coordinate activities.

+ Direct crew members as to the proper procedures to build the job safely, on time and under budget.

+ Work directly with the Project Superintendent to ensure client needs are being met.

+ Record information, such as personnel, production, or operational data on specified forms or reports.

+ Suggest or initiate personnel actions, such as promotions, transfers, or hires.
