For a role of this nature the impact encompasses the entire organization, however, key requirements are as follows:

+ Experience in ISO 9001/AS9100, and NADCAP preferred

+ Forging Industry knowledge big plus.

+ Experience with continuous improvement program implementation preferred.

+ Experience in high volume metal machining a plus.

Skills and Abilities

+ Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

+ Proficiency in Microsoft office required, with strong computer skills.

+ Administer the Quality Management System.

+ Recognize and implement effective problem resolution.

+ Ensure all processes in area comply with ISO 9001/AS9100, NADCAP, and customer-specific requirements.

+ Lead the internal audit process and internal auditors.

+ Support the Company's Quality Assurance Programs.

+ Manage the Quality organization staff and their daily activities.

+ Develop and facilitate quality assurance related training for production and management personnel.

+ Maintain product traceability information.

+ Perform daily quality metrics and analysis in key areas of production.

+ Use Six Sigma/Lean methods to improve product quality throughout facility.

+ Manage all nonconforming product

+ Submit all non-conforming product to customers when required

+ Contribute to all product development.

+ Contribute to production improvement projects.

+ Ensure compliance with customer specified purchase order requirements.

+ Act as point of contact for 2 and 3 party QMS audits.

+ Maintain the gage calibration system.

+ Assist Purchasing with the Supplier Selection and Evaluation process.
