    PeaceHealth is seeking a Program Coordinator Opioid Treatment for a Full Time, 1.00 FTE, Variable position. The salary range for this job opening at PeaceHealth is $33.89 – $50.85. The hiring rate is dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to education, training, work experience, terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement, seniority, etc.

    Job Summary

    Under the direction of the Hospital CMO, responsible for coordinating the overall operations of the Opioid Treatment Network (OTN) Grant. Develop and implement policies and procedures and collaboratively manage processes to provide low-barrier access to medication-based treatment for inpatients and ED patients; work with and train various inpatient physician provider and nursing teams; and champion the program and processes that foster the evidence-based medication-based treatment of opioid addiction. Has primary responsibility to ensure that the OTN Grant outcomes are successful.

    Details of the position

    + Provide oversight of the identification, screening and induction of patients with Opioid Use Disorder onto medication-based treatment, wherever they are within the hospital setting.

    + Cultivate and maintain positive working relationships with PeaceHealth caregivers, physicians, managers, patients, their families and the public.

    + Ensure patients treated under this program receive excellent and compassionate treatment regardless of their social background or drug-use history.

    + Develop, conduct and coordinate staff training for the identification, assessment and induction of patients onto medication-based treatment in all clinical areas. Collaborate with clinical education team to identify methods and resources for staff education and deliver this education jointly with education team as appropriate. Serve as staff resource on opioid use disorder and medication-based treatment options.

    + Coordinate planning and evaluation of program effectiveness, efficiency and quality of service. Provide ongoing assessment of program needs.

    + Responsible for all deliverables as described in the OTN grant contract including data collected through patient interviews at induction and subsequent timelines, following the patients through their continued treatment following hospital discharge.

    + Maintain monthly patient log and reports required by the State of Washington for all inductions, assures accuracy of information and uploads data through an HCA secure portal monthly, and as requested by the State Program Manager.

    + Provide oversight of the OTN grant program to ensure compliance with all State and Federal laws, regulations, and statutes related to the grant, as well as hospital policies, including ensuring confidentiality requirements are stringently met.

    + Collaborate with and oversee activities of outside contracted opioid educators embedded in the hospital, ensuring that they maintain compliance with all legal and grant contract requirements while working within the hospital setting.

    + Performs other duties as assigned.

    What you bring

    + Bachelor's Degree Required _or_

    + Master's Degree Required according to State license requirements

    + Minimum of 2 years Required: Experience in working with patients from various backgrounds struggling with opioid use disorder

    + Preferred: Experience with grant and/or project management including budgetary management in a hospital setting

    + Preferred: Previous leadership experience

    + : Any equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience that fulfills the requirements of the position will be considered.

    Credentials

    + Required: Current license/registration/certification as required by Washington.
