As a Sr Compensation Manager at AutoZone you will be responsible for designing and implementing compensation plans and programs to attract and retain talent, drive business results, and reward employees. In this role, you will oversee the development, execution, and evaluation of compensation programs for Supply Chain, ALLDATA, and International divisions, including base pay, incentive pay, and rewards performance management. You will collaborate closely with senior leadership to ensure compensation strategies align with business objectives, industry trends, and regulatory requirements.This role serves as the central hub for project management within AutoZone’s Compensation organization, driving strategic initiatives that shape compensation structures across the company. This leader plays a crucial role in designing and implementing competitive compensation plans to attract and retain top talent, drive business results, and reward AutoZoners for their contributions.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Partner with business leaders and HR Business Partners to develop and implement compensation philosophies, programs, policies, and practices.
+ Provide guidance on job evaluations and make recommendations to HR Business Partners and Recruiting.
+ Conduct robust analysis to support management decisions related to compensation programs.
+ Manage the annual bonus plan eligibility review, funding allocations, and global payouts.
+ Develop and manage salary structures, base pay programs, and annual merit/market increase processes.
+ Analyze market competitiveness and participate in global job evaluations and salary surveys.
+ Coordinate with HRIS to manage compensation tools, including system enhancements and administration.
+ Experience in developing and administering equity and long-term incentive plans is a plus.
+ Strong analytical skills and the ability to conduct meaningful compensation analyses.
+ Knowledge of federal, state, provincial, and local compensation regulations.
+ Excellent communication and presentation skills for training and development purposes.
+ Ability to manage special projects such as acquisition integration and organizational restructuring.
+ Supervises a team .
+ Experience: 10+ years of relevant experience in the design, development, and administration of compensation programs, preferably in a large, multi-site global corporation.
+ Knowledgeable: 5+ years of previous experience, knowledge, understanding in the design, development & administration of compensation programs. Retail preferred within a large, multi-site global corporation.
+ Tech-Savvy: You're comfortable with MS Office programs, Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Your technical skills will help you analyze data and uncover insights.
+ Effective Communicator: Your ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, ensures that your findings and recommendations are clearly understood by all stakeholders.
+ Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, finance, or related field, Master’s degree preferred.
