**The University of Arizona Department of Medicine, Section of Cardiology and Banner University Medical Center, Tucson is seeking an Academic Cardiologist to provide patient care, teaching and research.** The successful candidate will provide cardiology and non-interventional cardiac care to both inpatients and outpatients, participate in activities of the cardiology section, conduct research and perform academic responsibilities as well as all duties of a staff cardiologist. Banner University Medical Center - Tucson is a highly respected multi-disciplinary team of physicians.

Essential Functions and Qualifications:

+ BE/BC in Cardiovascular Disease

+ Fellowship training in non-invasive Cardiology

+ One-year practice experience preferred

+ Team oriented, adaptable and comfortable working within a community hospital environment

+ Strong commitment to patient care, strong teaching and clinical skills and desire for translational research
