The **Analyst, Conflict of Interest** will assist the Director, Conflict of Interest Management with the oversight of the Business and Research COI Program to ensure compliance with federal regulations and institutional policies. This position will also ensure compliance with COI training and participate in training and outreach initiatives at HMH, including but not limited to development of resources, webpage maintenance, and presentations.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

+ Bachelor's degree (preferable in the biological sciences or public health).

+ Minimum of 2 years research experience and/or relevant work experience addressing conflicts of interest and applying regulations for an academic medical center, or the equivalent.

+ Experience in a related area of hospital or research administration. Relevant work experience may be substituted for advanced degree with research focus.

+ Proven excellent analytical, oral and written communication (including presentation), and project management skills.

+ Self-starter that is willing to seek training and relevant literature to better understand research processes.

+ Ability to understand, apply, and communicate complicated policies and laws and regulations at all levels with Hackensack Meridian Health while maintaining high level of confidentiality.

+ Ability to work independently to gather information necessary to conduct and document reviews.

+ Ability to successfully collaborate with individuals.

+ Ability to maintain confidentiality of the information received and gathered as part of COI review process.

+ Demonstrated ability to achieve results in a fast paced, deadline driven environment with multiple priorities and stakeholders.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:

+ Experience with software for financial interest reporting, IRB and/or pre-award grants and award management or similar software in a university or academic medical center environment.

+ Prior experience conducting conflict of interest analyses.
