In this role, you’ll be responsible for developing a high volume of timely, high-quality, and competitive project proposals. As time allows, the position will also assist with various marketing projects and functions including updating resumes and project descriptions, obtaining project photography, creating custom collateral, developing digital content, and maintaining digital sites among other tasks as needed.
Responsibilities
+ Collaborate with in-person and remote managers to craft and submit custom proposals in response to Requests for Proposals/Requests for Qualifications (RFPs/RFQs) from the initial planning stage through final production and delivery.
+ Clearly communicate with technical staff regarding RFP/RFQ details, schedules, and action items.
+ Write, edit, and collaborate with others to develop winning strategies, draft responses and direct the layout, formatting, design, and presentation of proposals, formal letters, and interview presentations.
+ Juggle multiple, sometimes competing, priorities at once and manage your own schedule.
+ Write and continually update project descriptions, employee bios, and resumes to be included in proposals.
+ Maintain and update the CRM database (Unanet).
+ Comply with corporate brand standards to present a consistent appearance and style for all external marketing communications.
+ Create and edit templates using Microsoft Office and Adobe InDesign.
Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in English, Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred.
+ 5+ years of proposal writing/marketing experience (A/E/C industry preferred).
+ Strong communication and time management skills (organized and deadline driven).
+ Detail-oriented with excellent proofreading abilities.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign and Photoshop.
+ Self-motivated with ability to collaborate with in-person and virtual teams.
+ Experience with Unanet CRM a plus.
+ Comfortable navigating a large and growing corporate environment.
+ Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.
