Job Summary and Qualifications
We are seeking a dynamic Radiation Therapist to join our healthcare team. Your primary function is the daily treatment of all patients in the Radiation Oncology Department. You will perform a variety of Radiation Oncology procedures including treatment planning and simulation. Performs those duties directly involved with a variety of technical procedures, scheduling patients, assisting physicians, and applying ionizing radiation for therapeutic and diagnostic purposes in accordance with ALARA standards. Manages daily clinical operations. You will work with a phenomenal team that cares like family and works together in a collaborative manner.
In this role you will:
+ You will administer radiation therapy as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist.
+ You will utilize treatment immobilization devices, custom blocking or other accessory techniques to accurately reproduce the radiation treatment.
+ You will utilize imaging equipment for precise tumor localization.
What qualifications you will need:
+ Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy program. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
+ ARRT (T) registry required
+ State licensure as a Radiation Therapist required
+ Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
+ 3 or more years of experience preferred
