    Position Overview

    We are hiring a Logistics Manager who willreport to the Director, Systems Engineering. The Logistics Manager will drive operational excellence in domestic logistics and performance management, while also supporting global e-commerce initiatives. This role balances strategic orientation with operational execution. This position requires a detailed understanding of the multiple production platforms and their capabilities within the Fujifilm Personalized Photo Products Group (PPPG) facilities. The position is in Greenwood, SC and is an individual contributor role.

    Job Description

    Responsibilities

    Collaboration and Strategy:

    + Work with Systems Engineering to optimize systems logic and data to develop a solution to provide our customers with accurate shipping estimates for all our products.

    + Work with global teams and category managers responsible for freight procurement and strategy to align operational goals with broader company objectives.

    + Work with global teams to secure favorable shipping rates with carriers on a global basis.

    + Review billing statements for accuracy and identify recurring issues.

    + Implement and support continuous improvement initiatives based on data-driven insights.

    + Analyze the global supply chain footprint and recommend strategies to reduce freight costs.

    + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and execute continuous improvement projects, including negotiating shipping, freight, and logistics contracts with carriers, suppliers, and third-party providers to secure favorable terms and pricing.

    + Evaluate competitive pricing for comparison as part of the strategic business objectives and ongoing continuous improvement.

    + Collaborate with New Product Development and Procurement to identify suitable packaging for new products to achieve optimal ship rates.

    Performance Monitoring:

    + Monitor logistics performance, prepare reports, and provide insights on cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.

    + Evaluate carrier options and work with carriers and Systems Engineering to implement new services.

    + Audit rate pulls with Systems Engineering to ensure data accuracy.

    + Support PM and Sales with customer inquiries and shipping rate estimates.

    + Provide analytical support for various logistics-related projects and requests.

    + Provide project support for supply chain and packaging procurement initiatives.

    + Offer insights on package dimension thresholds and collaborate with QA and Procurement to optimize packaging for optimal shipping rates.

    + Address and resolve issues related to delays, damaged goods, or discrepancies in shipments.

    + Collaborate with carriers to address service issues and ensure compliance with agreements.

    + Monitor carrier performance using KPIs to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions.

    Compliance and Regulatory Support:

    + Ensure freight operations comply with local, national, and international transportation regulations.

    + Stay updated on US Customs regulations and incorporate compliance measures into freight processes.

    Required Skills/Education

    + Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or related field to area of responsibility or equivalent experience.

    + Minimum 10 years’ experience in operations management and transportation management skills.

    + Working knowledge of shipping regulations domestic and internationally.

    + Demonstrates ability to plan, set priorities, organize, and coordinate work with others.

    + Strong Analytical, teamwork and communication skills.

    + Experience presenting to senior management.

    + Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

    Desired Skills

    + Experience with MM/PP/FI Modules of SAP preferred.

    + Creates a trusting atmosphere by relating to people in an open, friendly, and accepting manner.

    + Demonstrates ability to use verbal, written and listening communications skills with people from diverse cultural backgrounds.

    + Demonstrates professionalism, e.g., cooperation, courtesy, assertiveness, non-defensiveness, and accepting of constructive criticism.

    + Effectively handles stressful situations (resolving conflict and meeting deadlines).
