Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to manage and maintain accurate financial records for our organization in Rogers, Arkansas. In this Contract-to-Permanent role, you will play a key part in ensuring the integrity of our financial operations by handling transactions, reconciliations, and reporting. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and bring a high level of precision and organizational skills to the position.
Responsibilities:
• Record daily financial transactions in accounting software, ensuring all entries are accurate and properly categorized.
• Reconcile accounts, including bank statements, credit card statements, and general ledger entries, to ensure consistency and resolve discrepancies.
• Process invoices, payments, and expense reimbursements promptly while tracking accounts receivable and following up on overdue payments.
• Assist with payroll processing and ensure payroll-related expenses are accurately recorded and reported.
• Prepare key financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, for management review.
• Maintain well-organized records of financial transactions to support audits and compliance requirements.
• Ensure adherence to tax regulations and accounting standards, assisting with tax filing preparations as needed.
• Support year-end closings by preparing reconciliations, reports, and documentation for audits.
• Perform additional accounting and administrative tasks as assigned by management. Requirements • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree or certification in Accounting or Finance preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Bookkeeper or similar financial role.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage, along with strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Solid understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial processing and reporting.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Integrity and discretion in handling sensitive financial information.
• Familiarity with payroll processes and tax regulations is a plus.
