Job Description

Per Diem CT Technologist - Breast and Imaging Center

Join our Radiology team atBAIC! We are seeking aPer Diem CT Technologistat our freestanding outpatient facility located in NY, NY.

Role Overview:

+ Perform a variety of CT/ Bone Density and X-ray imaging procedures that require independent judgment and ingenuity with minimal supervision, on patients of all age groups.

+ Bone Density will be taught and training provided onsite.

+ Operate CT scanners and associated equipment safely and in accordance with established policies and practices.

+ Explain procedures to patients, monitoring for patient safety and comfort, administering contrast (IV and/or Oral).

+ Conduct imaging in accordance to established protocols and quality standards.

+ Enter complete and accurate documentation into all MSK/Radiology systems.

+ Perform general radiology procedures.

Key Qualifications:

+ Associate’s Degree / Certified Vocational Training or Graduate of a 2 yr AMA approved Radiology school.

+ ARRT in Radiography and CT

+ Minimum 2 yrs experience in CT preferred and operating GE systems.

+ NYS Department of Health License in Diagnostic Radiography, IV Certification

+ Location: 300 East 66thSt- Breast & Imaging Center - New York, New York

+ Schedule: Per Diem as needed

+ Reporting to the Manager, Diagnostic Radiology

Pay Range : $60.00-$65.00/hr.
