SAP Technical Architect- with BTP & Cloud

The SAP BTP Architect is responsible for owning the design, implementation and ongoing management of sophisticated SAP solutions based on the SAP Business Technology Platform's Integration Suite (aka CPI). The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing scalable SAP solutions leveraging cloud technologies and BTP services.

They work closely with partners across the organization to understand business requirements, develop solutions architecture, and supervise the implementation of new systems and technologies. Technical Architects assess a project’s feasibility, as well as implementation risks. They are responsible for designing and implementing a project’s technical architecture. They define the structure of a system, its interfaces, and the principles that guide its organization, software design and implementation.

The scope of the Technical Architect’s role is bounded by the business issue at hand. You must have the knowledge of all the different aspects of Technical Delivery as well as robust business knowledge. .

Your Role

+ Design and implement SAP Technical architecture based on SAP BTP & Cloud- taking into account the organization's goals and objectives, current technology landscape, and budget constraints.

+ Lead the architecture design and technical implementation of SAP solutions on SAP BTP and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, or SAP Cloud).

+ Define best practices for integration, extensibility, and development within the SAP ecosystem.

+ Collaborate with functional teams, developers, and business stakeholders to deliver high-performing and scalable solutions.

+ Design end-to-end architecture for hybrid environments (on-prem and cloud).

+ Provide guidance on application development using SAP BTP tools

+ Stay updated with the latest innovations in SAP BTP, SAP S/4HANA, and emerging cloud technologies.

+ Design: Develop and document solution designs, including technical specifications, implementation plans, and system configurations.

+ Technical Oversight: Supervise the implementation of new SAP solutions, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the organization's needs.

Your skills and experience

+ 15 years Professional experience with a minimum of 10 years SAP related experience.

+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field

+ Deep understanding of SAP BTP including services like Integration Suite, Extension Suite, CAP, RAP, and SAP Cloud SDK.

+ Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and DevOps tools.

+ Experience in SAP S/4HANA implementation or migration projects.

+ Consistent track record in SAP implementation and architecture, with proven track record with SAP Business Technology Platform.

+ Deep technical knowledge of SAP BTP technologies, including Cloud Foundry, SAP HANA, SAP Fiori, SAPUI5, and SAP Integration Suite.

+ Experience in leading sophisticated SAP implementation projects, with proven experience in design, configuration, and implementation.

+ Superb communication, interpersonal, and partner leadership skills.

+ Relevant SAP certifications are desirable.
