    Position Summary:

    Provides care and treatment to patients under the supervision of the attending physician(s) in accordance with established guidelines.

    Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

    1. Obtains health histories and assesses the patient in order to determine healthcare needs.

    2. Performs physical examinations.

    3. Orders routine laboratory/diagnostic tests and adjusts treatment plan as appropriate.

    4. Makes tentative diagnosis about management and treatment of patients.

    5. Counsels patients in relation to their health needs.

    Qualifications:

    _Required:_

    + Graduate of approved or accredited Physician Assistant program

    + Current Physician Assistant state license

    + BLS certification

    _Preferred:_

    + _Prior Physician Assistant experience_
