• Sandblaster & CNC Cut Table Operator

    Responsibilities(include but are not limited to)

     

    + Operate sandblasting equipment to remove mill scale from steel plate and assemblies

    + Adjust equipment as necessary to perform efficient and proper blasting

    + Perform preventative maintenance procedures for blast and recovery systems

    + Operate plasma & oxy fuel cutting table

    + Assist with loading and unloading cut table

    + Label and sort cut parts

    + Help with staging of steel plate for upcoming programs

    + Process & unload steel deliveries

    + Organize and label steel plate in the storage yard

    + Clean cutting table trays

    + Actively maintain a clean & safe work area

    + The ability to work in all weather conditions

    + Team player, detail oriented, flexible and able to work with minimal supervision

    Physical demands:

    + Able to bend, stoop, squat, and twist

    + Able to be on feet continuously for long periods of time

    Work Environment: The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, however can be severe and caution shall be executed with the use of PPE as required.
